Big Rock Park is located directly across from our Thornhill Community area.  The area is maintained by the Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation Department.

On the right you will find two summary articles, the first talks about the history of the area, while the second article relates to the political actions concerning the park.  Beneath the Information is another container, Detailed Information.  In this area, you will find many of the supporting documents to the story of Big Rock.
