Clubs in Thornhill

There are a number of clubs in the neighborhood open to all Thornhill residents. If you are interested in starting a new club, please contact the Thornhill Women's Assocation (TWA) . Active clubs are listed below. 

Book Club
Do you ever read a book and wonder what others might think too? Do you enjoy getting together and having a great and lively chat with friends?  Then Bookclub might be for you... we always welcome new members... we are a collection of avid readers, voracious readers and novice readers. We all love discussing great books...not so great books...or just your average beach book! Please come join us.

Play Groups
A group for infants through pre-schoolers meets on Wednesdays, 10 a.m. - Noon. For more information, please contact Kara or Dana.

A group for toddlers only meets on Tuesdays, 10 a.m. - Noon. Please contact Jill Goodrich, 704-544-2065.

Tornados Swim Team
To paraphrase our league's motto, Let the children swim! We strive to provide the encouragement and fellowship to allow each child to grow and enjoy their world. We expose the children to the true sense of community, by observing their parents and neighbors volunteering to fill the various roles, that make the swim season successful. While our focus is our children, a secondary objective is that their parents get to know their neighbors as well!
