Architectural Control Committee Print

As property owners each of us have an obligation to maintain our homes and yards to an acceptable community standard. Each year our property management company and the Thornhill Architectural Control Committee spends time reviewing and addressing complaints related to maintenance. Areas of concern usually are related to the condition of the exterior paint, excessive mildew, damaged or rotten trim work around windows and doors. The yard items are most often related to edging along the streets and walkways, dead trees, shrubs, unkempt lawns and planting beds, and excessive weeds which can spread to neighboring lawns. Also, per city/county ordinance, basketball goals and other item are not permitted to be placed on the streets.

A little extra care around your home and grounds can make a big difference in how the community looks.

The Thornhill Architectural Control Committee would like to remind residents of Thornhill to review the Community Guidelines before starting any projects that need approval. Remember exterior painting, fences, decks, screened porches etc., do need to be approved. Be sure to first fill out your Thornhill Request for Approval/Acknowledgment of Adjacent Owners form and submit it to:
