Thornhill Semi-Annual Yard Sale

TIME TO CLEAN OUT THOSE CLOSETS!!!

The Thornhill Women’s Association is sponsoring our community yard sale.  If you would like to participate, the cost is $10.00.  This fee covers advertising , the $5.00 garage sale permit, signage, and balloons to designate which streets  are participating.  The City of Charlotte requires that each participating home have a permit.  If you are caught without a permit, you could be fined by the city.   TWA saves you the time and hassle of obtaining the permit.  We will make one trip uptown to get permits for all participating homes.

Simply complete the form and return along with your registration fee (CASH PREFERRED)  NO LATER THAN Wednesday, October 21st  to:

**Please be sure to include your lot number. (Required by the city to process the application)  You can locate this on the Thornhill Map, which is available on-line under "Members Only."

Permits and balloons will be delivered to your mailbox no later than Friday the 23rd.

In addition, we will make arrangements with the Kidney Foundation to pick up any unsold items.  Simply place any items you wish to donate in boxes or bags clearly labeled with “KF” curbside by 12:30 pm.  They will be in a truck clearly marked “Kidney Foundation”.  If you see anyone else picking up your things at the curb, you may call the police.  This has been an issue in the past.
