THORNHILL COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION
Get to know TCA
Thornhill Community Association, Inc. (TCA) is the member association comprised of all Thornhill homeowners. Membership in TCA is mandatory based on our Conditions, Covenants and Restrictions (CC&Rs). Thornhill Community Association was organized as a non-profit corporation in July 1989 and operates within the Nonprofit Corporation and Planned Community Acts of North Carolina.
What are TCA’s responsibilities?
While the management company handles the administrative operation of Thornhill, an elected Board of Directors is the decision-making body authorized in the governing documents to act on behalf of TCA. The volunteer Board represents the interests of the Association and its membership, and is instrumental in the operation of the community. The Board's oversight includes the budget, reserves, policy, the amenities, and projects that maintain and add value to Thornhill.

Board Meetings
Attending the Board's business meetings is a good way to keep up with what’s going on in Thornhill. Board meetings typically occur each month (in-person or virtual) and attendance is open to all members. Board meetings are announced by email, and posted on the entrance boards and Community Calendar. A meeting agenda and meeting minutes are posted for every meeting. To ask a question or speak at a Board meeting, please reach out to Cusick to be placed on the schedule (rkaplan@cusickcompany.com). You can also email the Board with comments or questions at ThornhillBODnc@gmail.com.
